By using Dicta, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Service Description
Dicta is a voice-to-text dictation application that converts spoken audio into written text. The service is provided by InnovaAI, based in La Paz, Bolivia.
2. Plans and Pricing
- Free Plan: 60 minutes of transcription per day, basic features
- Pro Monthly: $7.99/month, unlimited transcription, all features
- Pro Annual: $59.99/year, unlimited transcription, all features
- Lifetime: One-time payment, unlimited transcription forever, all features
Prices may change with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will keep their rate until the end of their current billing period.
3. Local Mode (BYOK)
Dicta can be used in local mode with your own API keys (Bring Your Own Key) at no cost. In this mode, you are responsible for any charges from the third-party API providers (Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic).
4. Account and Security
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- Each account has a device limit. Exceeding this limit may require removing old devices.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to bypass usage limits or subscription verification
- Share your account credentials or API access with others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
- Use automated tools to abuse the transcription API
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service depends on third-party APIs (Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic) which may experience their own outages. We are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party providers.
7. Intellectual Property
The Dicta application, website, and all related materials are the intellectual property of InnovaAI. Your transcribed text belongs to you — we claim no ownership over content you create using Dicta.
8. Limitation of Liability
Dicta is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. InnovaAI is not liable for:
- Inaccurate transcriptions or text processing errors
- Data loss resulting from device failure or software bugs
- Damages arising from use or inability to use the service
9. Cancellation and Refunds
- Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
- Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. No prorated refunds.
- Lifetime plans are non-refundable after 14 days of purchase.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Dicta after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of La Paz, Bolivia.
